Selling Out a Shoe Collection in 96 Hours

Kicksy Warsaw was stuck with a shoe stock that wouldn't sell through standard channels. Syrenka Media Lab stepped in with a plan for quick noise on TikTok, which cleared the warehouse to zero in record time.

The challenge

The client had 512 pairs of limited-series shoes that had been sitting on shelves for two months. From April to mid-May 2024, they sold only 14 pairs. Frozen capital amounted to over 128,000 PLN, and the new autumn collection required warehouse space and cash to pay supplier invoices. Traditional graphic ads on Facebook had low clicks (CTR below 0.8%) and did not generate a return.

Our approach

Instead of looking for expensive celebrities, we focused on 3 niche creators from Warsaw who live sneaker culture. Our team, led by Kamil (video) and Aneta (strategy), prepared 'get ready with me' scripts and dynamic shoe durability tests. We focused on authenticity. We recorded the videos on the streets of Wola and in our studio at Tamka 37, using quick cuts and music that was just becoming viral.

The solution

We released a series of 12 short vertical videos that didn't look like ads. We used a 'secret link' mechanism available only in the influencers' bios, which created time pressure and a sense of exclusivity. Each video addressed a specific problem: how to match these shoes with wide trousers and how to care for their material. We supported the whole thing with a small TikTok Ads budget to boost reach where the algorithm had already started promoting us.

Results

The campaign worked so fast that we had to turn off paid promotions 12 hours before the planned end, because only single units in size 36 were left in the store.
